Welcome to Pack 4 La Jolla 2026-2027!
**OUR PACK IS CURRENTLY AT CAPACITY AS WE HAVE LIMITED PHYSICAL SPACE TO EXPAND AT OUR MEETING LOCATION***

For those who are new to us or to Scouting, here’s some information:
- Cub Scouts is a family activity and a parent-led volunteer organization. It’s not a drop-off activity.
- Pack 4 asks that one parent in your family become a registered adult (there is a fee, 90m Scouting specific training, and California AB506 compliance – 2hr training see AB506 details here.)
- Parent involvement and support are expected throughout the year. We have an awesome group of families and have a blast together!
We generally meet on Tuesdays once a month and then have a least one other pack event on the weekend in a month. Kids meet with their den which is organized by grade (not age).
If you are interested in our pack, before registering please reach out to our Cubmaster at Cubmaster@pack4lajolla.org with your interest and your child’s grade. Please do not register without reaching out first.
Joining for the 2026-2027 Year
Currently all of our dens are full and will likely stay full through next year unless families decide not to continue, which we may not know until end of summer and we already have long waiting lists. EMAIL CUBMASTER@PACK4LAJOLLA.ORG to be on the interest list and your name will be added.
If you are interested in scouting and open to making new friends, we highly recommend checking out PB Pack 246 so that you don’t have to wait to start your scouting journey!
LIONS (K ): 3 spots available + 1 assistant den leader needed
TIGERS (1st): FULL – there is a waitlist
WOLVES (2nd): FULL – there is a waitlist
BEARS (3rd): FULL – there is a waitlist
WEBELOS (4th): FULL – there is a waitlist
**AOL (5th): FULL – not accepting new scouts at this level. see below.
**(If you have a 5th grader next year, you’re in luck! Please check out Troop 4 and Troop 506 to join next spring. Cub scouting is not required to join at the next level which starts next year!).
